CAADAC's PAC needs you!

The CAADAC PAC (Political Action Committee) is a non-partisan political action committee dedicated to advancing the interests of CAADAC members and their clients and practices before the California Legislature. Its primary goals are to raise funding to support CAADAC’s legislative agenda in California, build relationships with key members of the Legislature and their staffs, help pro-CAADAC individuals achieve or maintain office, complement CAADAC's communications, educational and research objectives, support legislation conducive to CAADAC's goals and philosophies, sponsor events to assist members in learning more about the legislative process in California, and to provide opportunities for CAADAC members to attend political fundraisers. The PAC budget enhances CAADAC's legislative program by raising awareness of the issues facing counselors. 

CAADAC's grassroots organization is an impressive asset at the State Capitol, but we need your monetary support too! Many associations operate with huge budgets for attending fundraisers, contributing to candidates and supporting their legislative programs. CAADAC needs to improve this area of its legislative operations.

You may think that donating to a Political Action Committee (PAC) is just for large corporations or the political elite. The truth is that small donations ($10 - $25) from a large group, like our membership, can build a secure base for political fundraising. For the cost of one pizza, you can help your profession to grow and improve your future.

Political Action Committee funds are used to make contributions to recognize legislators who support our interests. CAADAC's resources pay for all of CAADAC's legislative and other advocacy endeavors, but these resources may not lawfully be used to fund political action, that is why we have to seek member support separate and apart from CAADAC's other financial resources. You can make a difference... support your profession today with a small contribution.
