CAADAC invites you to become a Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor Associate (CADCA)

Most professionals in the health and mental health fields are required to demonstrate their knowledge and skills by applying them in real life situations under supervision by an expert in the field in an "internship" setting. CAADAC "Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor Associates" are the AODA equivalent of an "intern." A CADCA has proven his or her skills by completing a supervised practicum through a recognized school and has successfully passed the written examination of the IC&RC. CAADAC invites you to begin the process of documenting your education, skills and knowledge so that you may begin your internship. When you start the online application process to become an "Associate" all of your documents and logs are saved for you... and it doesn't cost a penny to start!  Make sure you begin your online certification journey right away and before you know it, you'll be ready to say, "I'll start my Internship today!"

Requirements for applying for the CADCA Credential:

“I am so proud to be out in the field working with clients. Passing the ICRC exam tells the world that I have the knowledge needed to treat the life threatening disease of addiction. Supervisors respect me and know I am ready to apply my skills. Being a CAADAC “Intern” starts me a step ahead in the work world.”
