This year’s conference will be held at the San Diego Mission Valley Marriott; the conference committee, board and staff is excited to be in San Diego! At this conference we want to look towards the future and prepare for the next steps in the growth of our profession, with workshops to assist professionals in increasing their knowledge in medically assisted treatment approaches and interventions, multicultural competency, co-occurring disorders, prevention methodologies, supervision techniques, professional and personal growth, ethics and many more interactive training opportunities. Also, we will have workshops to help individuals who want to start or who currently have a full time or part time private practice.
The traditional Pre-Conference begins on Thursday, October 4, 2012 and the full Conference will begin on Friday October 5, 2012 and go through Sunday, October 7, 2012.

Annual Membership Meeting

All CAADAC members are urged to attend the Annual Membership Meeting held during the Conference. The business conducted at this meeting will continue to solidify the position of CAADAC in the state for years to come. The meeting has been extended to three hours this year to ensure ample time for members’ questions and/or business. Additionally, in order to use our time effectively, we will distribute a comment/question card to each full member for topics and/or questions to be submitted and addressed.
To be eligible to vote you must be a FULL Individual CAADAC member in good standing. For purposes of voting during this Annual Membership Meeting your application for membership (new or renewal) must be received no later than September 24, 2012. Complimentary Members, Registered Students (RS) or Registered Recovery Workers (RRW) (who are not full members) do not have voting privileges.
YOU NEED NOT BE REGISTERED FOR THE CONFERENCE TO ATTEND THE MEETING!
While those registered for the full conference will be seated for the luncheon (arm band required), gallery seating will be provided for those members interested only in the business portion of the meeting (lunch will not be provided). If you are not a full Friday-Sunday conference registrant but want to partake in the luncheon you will need to pre-register/purchase a luncheon ticket (arm band) at the registration desk.
